Our Story
“As a child, my mother and grandmother made my clothing, and I adored frills and all things beautiful. When not dressing up, my dolls got a taste of the spotlight as my mini runway models.” – Natasha Dwyer
After successfully completing four years of fashion design college, Arthur Ave was established, deriving its name from the very street where it all began. Natasha, always mindful of sustainability, initially employed recycled fabrics, giving her creations a distinctive antique and patchwork look. Her unique style evolved due to limited access to large quantities of fabric, which were not readily available. Natasha’s exceptional talent for blending colors, prints, and textures remains evident in her current collections.
Throughout her fashion journey, Natasha has garnered multiple accolades for her designs, one of which granted her the opportunity to study fashion in Paris. Awards from Planet Ark and AWFA recognized her innovative use of recycled materials and winning gold for her exhibition displays.
Notable projects include designing Jesinta Campbell’s National Costume for Australia and creating wedding gowns for prominent footballers’ partners and gowns for red carpet events. Recently, Arthur Ave proudly partnered with Thread Together, a charity committed to restoring dignity and hope.
